APIARY TOUR - IN-PERSON
Want to experience something thrilling and exciting? Try our "in-person" apiary tour and beekeeping experience!
Tours are held in the pollinator sanctuary and educational site in Rancho Cucamonga at The Root 66 Garden. Get up close and personal with thousands of bees! We humanely save and relocate colonies throughout the Inland Empire. Some of those colonies have remained to pollinate the local community garden. Students will be dressed in appropriate safety gear, learn apiary safety, and assist to check on colonies on site according to skill level. This is fun for the family, ages 8 and up! For those students that are shy, the enclosure for the bees is designed to watch safely from the outside.
For every "in-person" student, 10% will be donated to the community garden. If you need to reserve your spot for a cash or check pay, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
