This is a classroom only class, no suit is necessary, and all experience levels are welcome. (Recommended for ages 8+, but all ages are welcome. Ages 2 & under are free.)
We strive to promote healthy environments through education, community involvement, and advocating sustainable landscapes. We teach conservation of pollinators, honey bee stewardship, and sustainable land management. In line with our mission, our classes focus on natural and sustainable beekeeping philosophies and practices, especially for backyard beekeepers.
Many people are intrigued about bees, but are hesitant to start their own hives. Others plunge right in and feel they need more direction. We can help you gain the knowledge and confidence you need.
