Message: Today we taught students on location at their home apiary. We moved the hive on a stand, moved it over 2 feet for more sun and inspection room, cleaned out wax moth, pulled two old frames of comb, put in two new frames, and gave them an expansion box. The comb was cross combed in an "eaten up by wax moth" deep, so we will have to wait a year for the cluster to move up in the medium and abandon the bottom pantry so we can completely replace the wooden ware. The top and bottom will be replaced during the next session. These girls are sweet and survivors! ??? Need help with your colony? Contact us for your private mentoring session ?
